Certification
The Bibliotherapy Academy Diploma is a structured online training program for professionals who wish to integrate literature, poetry, stories, journaling and therapeutic writing into their work with individuals and groups. The program is built as a gradual four-part pathway: from foundational theory and symbolic listening, through practical bibliotherapeutic techniques, poetic and reflective writing, and the use of stories in therapeutic and group processes.
Diploma in Psychodynamic Bibliotherapy
A four-part professional training program in bibliotherapy, literature, writing and psychodynamic practice.
Learning Format
The program combines live online sessions, guided independent study, readings, reflective writing, experiential exercises, case discussions and group dialogue.
Certification
Participants receive an attendance certificate for each completed part of the training.
The full Diploma in Psychodynamic Bibliotherapy is awarded to participants who complete all four parts of the program and meet the course requirements.
We are currently in the process of applying for CPD recognition. This recognition, once approved, will apply to the full Diploma pathway and not to individual modules.
This program is intended for education and professional development. It is not a clinical credential or license to practice psychotherapy, psychology, counseling, or any other regulated mental health profession. Completion of the program does not authorize graduates to provide psychotherapy or clinical mental health treatment.
Licensed mental health professionals may integrate bibliotherapy into their existing clinical practice in accordance with the ethical and legal requirements of their profession and jurisdiction.
Participants from non-clinical fields—including education, coaching, libraries, community programs, mentoring, pastoral care, facilitation, and creative writing—may apply bibliotherapeutic approaches within the scope of their own professional roles, but may not represent themselves as licensed mental health providers unless they hold the appropriate credentials.
